Graphing with M&M's

Graphing with M&M's is one of my favorite lessons!!!  The kids really love making the graph almost as much as they love eating the M&M's. Give students a handfull of M&M's in a cup or on a napkin.  Have them sort by color.  Then they will use the graph and put all of the colors on there.  As they take and M&M off it goes back on the napkin and they color or shade in the block to represent the number of each color.  At the end the students get to eat their M&M's.
